Niamh’s passion for alternative and holistic therapies began whist training to be a reflexologist in the Irish School of Herbal Medicine. Here she interacted with students on the Master Herbalist programme, listening to their discussions around diet, herbal medicine and iridology in order to treat many illnesses really appealed to Niamh. It was then that she then decided to go on to train to be a Master Herbalist and Iridologist in the school. During her four years of training on the Master Herbalist programme Niamh undertook many hours of clinical training where she treated numerous clients alongside her fellow students using iridology as a diagnostic tool as well as nutritional therapy to treat clients. Iridology refers to the process of assessing a client’s iris picture using an iriscope. The eyes are the ‘windows to your soul’ giving insight to the health of the colon, mind, reproductive system and many other organs and systems. Niamh gained valuable experience in treating many illness and discovered how dietary change, herbal medicine alongside alternative therapies can bring about many beneficial health benefits to people. Niamh also studied to become a living food instructor learning the amazing benefits a raw food diet has in bringing about healing, thereby speeding up the recovery process.
